What works best at removing blood stains from fabric and clothing? Hands down, hydrogen peroxide. Used as a pretreatment prior to laundering, hydrogen peroxide chemically dissolves a blood stain with only a few applications, making it ready for the wash and not leaving any permanent discoloration. Simply pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide onto the stain. This will immediately cause the blood to bubble white. Rub the solution in and then repeat this process until the area no longer turns white. The number of applications depends on how deep the stain is. Once this process is complete, the item is ready to be washed…Richard R Samuel, MD Family Practice and Urgent Care Hayden, ID USA
