Dr. Dane Mosher is an osteopathic, board-certified physician specializing in functional medicine. Since joining North Idaho DPC in January 2023, his patient-centered approach has been celebrated by the local community for his exceptional listening skills, empathy, and practical approach to wellness. His primary goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve lasting health while minimizing reliance on medications.
Certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in 2015, Dr. Mosher has over a decade of experience using the principles of functional and environmental medicine to uncover and treat root causes of illness. He has served on the board of directors of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine since 2017 and is a past president of the organization. His expertise includes treating conditions such as chronic fatigue, heart disease, autoimmune disorders, gastrointestinal complaints, autism, dementia, and allergies. Dr. Mosher is also passionate about helping patients prevent these conditions through proactive, personalized care.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Mosher holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from New Mexico State University. He earned his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed a three-year family medicine residency at East Tennessee State University. Now living in North Idaho with his wife Ann Marie and their two children, Andy and Lance, Dr. Mosher enjoys gardening, disc golf, cold water exposure, sauna sessions, learning Norwegian, and tackling jigsaw puzzles.
